The Handlebar IASTM tool is made of medical grade stainless steel with 3 highly polished treatment edges. The handlebar is a close copy of the Graston handlebar. The concave edge is identical to the Graston handlebar instrument. It is designed to be used so the bottom surface is flat on the target tissue. The 2 convex edges have been designed to provide additional treatment edges to make the tool more versatile and increase the areas the tool can be used on. Graston claims the concave edge is made at the perfect angle for treatment when the tool is used flat as that puts the beveled edge at a 40 degree angle. Use it like that and tilt it up a bit to get a sharper edge for detection. Then you can use one of the convex edges to get a smaller treatment area for a more focused treatment. It is 17 1/2" long and 1 5/8" high and weighs about 1 pound 6 ounces. Hand polished to a mirror finish. This has the quality of Snap-On tools. Absolutely beautiful.
